  1. AS A DOCTOR, HOW DO I START USING THE SOFTWARE for OPD--Out patient / consulting ?
    • LOG IN AS DOCTOR/ CONSULTANT
    • GO TO “ADD PATIENT”
    • COMPLETE FILLING THE FIELDS AND THEN REGISTER THE PATIENT/ SAVE THE PATIENT. MAKE SURE ALL THE MANDATORY FIELDS ARE FILLED
    • THE SAME PROCESS CAN BE DONE BY YOUR RECEPTIONIST FROM HER “LOG IN”
    • NOW “GO BACK “ BY CLICKING THE BUTTON ON THE RIGHT TOP CORNER OR SELECT TODAY’S PATIENT THAT YOU SEE IN THE LEFT PANEL
    • YOU WILL SEE THE PATIENT ADDED. THEN PRESS “VIEW”
    • START ENTERING PATIENT’S DATA
    • THOUGH THE OPD PAGE IS ON AUTOSAVE MODE, PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO “SAVE” SO THAT YOU DO NOT LOOSE THE DATA
    • RECEPTION OR DOCTOR CAN SELECT PATIENT FROM EXISTING PATIENT AND REGISTER THEM FOR FOLLOW UP. ONCE REGISTERED, THE PATIENT CAN BE VIEWED IN “ TODAY’S PATIENT” TAB.
  1. AS A DOCTOR, HOW DO I START USING THE SOFTWARE for IPD--in patient / admitted patient department?
    • LOG IN AS DOCTOR/ CONSULTANT
    • GO TO “ADD PATIENT”AND REGISTER A PATIENT AS NEW OR FOLLOW UP PATIENT.
    • GO TO TODAY’S PATIENT AND VIEW THE PARTICULAR PATIENT
    • SCROLL DOWN THE PAGE AND SELECT “”ADMIT THIS PATIENT/ MAKE IPD””
    • COMPLETE THE PROCESS OF ADMISSION AND THEN “”REGISTER”” OR “”SAVE””
    • NOW THE PATIENT IS ADMITTED.

    In the patient’s name and relative’s information, you may print the admission related documents, consents, TPR charts, Drug charts, etc.

    If the patient is posted for surgery, you may print a general consent or an Informed operation specific consent also.in a similar fashion

    You may use a different path also for any patient who is fully registered before.

    • Go to IPD in left column
    • IPD “”SELECT PATIENT””
    • COMPLETE THE REGISTARTION AND “”REGISTER OR SAVE””
    • FOLLOW THE SIMILAR PROCESS AS DESCRIBED ABOVE AFTER THIS.

    • LOG IN AS DOCTOR/ CONSULTANT
    • GO TO “ADD PATIENT”AND REGISTER A PATIENT AS NEW OR FOLLOW UP PATIENT.
    • GO TO TODAY’S PATIENT AND VIEW THE PARTICULAR PATIENT
    • SCROLL DOWN THE PAGE AND SELECT “”ADMIT THIS PATIENT/ MAKE IPD””
    • COMPLETE THE PROCESS OF ADMISSION AND THEN “”REGISTER”” OR “”SAVE””
    • NOW THE PATIENT IS ADMITTED.

    In the patient’s name and relative’s information, you may print the admission related documents, consents, TPR charts, Drug charts, etc.

  1. HOW CAN I SEE A PATIENT QUICKLY in OPD ?
  2. Use of software becomes very helpful when you use templates. These prepared templates can be simply copied in your day to day practice.

    You are provided with many templates such as prescription , opd, ipd and so on

    Please spare some of your valuable time to prepare your own templates. Every doctor has his own way of prescribing drugs. Therefore it’s recommended that you prepare your own templates.

    While making prescription templates, please fill in all the boxes as it would make your prescription medico-legally safe.

  1. HOW DO I GENERATE PATIENT RELATED DOCUMENTS IN HINDI OR MARATHI
    • While registering a patient, you have the option of selecting the patient’s language
    • Select patient’s language out of three language options provided.i.e., English ,Hindi or Marathi. If you do not select, the default language is English.
    • Please prepare your templates or any document in English. If you select from the preformed instructions, then they will get automatically printed in patient’s selected language.
    • If any new instruction is added by you as a prescribing doctor, then that instruction will be printed in English only.
    • IF YOU REPEATEDLY NEED THIS INSTRUCTION, KINDLY FORWARD IT TO US BY USING “FEEDBACK” BUTTON, We will get it converted to other languages and add it to the preformed instructions. Once it is done, you and other doctors also will be able to use it.
    • Let us help each other to make it more and more helpful for more and more doctors.
  1. How do I use the software anywhere where I do not have a printer?
    • All the documents to be given to the patient, will be prepared in pdf. Format.
    • If you are in an area where there are no printers available/ OR IF YOU WANT TO GO PAPERLESS, then there is an “e mail” button on the print document at the top. Simply e-mail the document to either your pharmacy or the patient. It will be automatically get forwarded to the e-mail.

  1. ON WHICH DEVICES THE SOFTWARE CAN BE USED? CAN IT BE USED OFFLINE ALSO ?
  2. The software can be used on desktop computer, Laptop, Tablet or a smartphone.

    It is completely mobile friendly / compatible.

    It can be used offline also in the form of an excel sheet. Later the consultant can upload all the information captured offline into the software by clicking on the “Update”button in the first page after “”LOG IN””.

  1. WHAT CAN I DO TO SECURE THE DATA OF PATIENTS?
    • PLEASE KEEP YOUR PASSWORD STRONG ALWAYS
    • PLEASE CHANGE YOUR SOFTWARE PASSWORD FREQUENTLY.
    • PLEASE DO NOT WRITE YOUR PASSWORD ANYWHERE
    • PLEASE DO NOT SHARE YOUR PASSWORD
    • YOUR PASSWORD GOES IN ENCRYPTED FORMAT AND NOONE CAN SEE OR KNOWS IT. THUS, YOU ARE ENTIRELY RESPONSIBLE FOR SECURITY OF YOUR PASSWORD.
  1. HOW DO I USE THE PRINT FUNCTION?
    • Whenever you want to print any document, you will have two options--either YOU CAN TAKE PRINT OR E MAIL THE DOCUMENTS.
    • To print you can save it or directly give a print as usual
    • If you do not have a letterhead, then it will print along with your letterhead format. If you have a letterhead, then you can print on your pre-printed letterheads also.
    • If you are a very environment friendly and want to save paper, then you will be able to e mail all the documents to the patient’s e mail address. The prescription can be mailed to your pharmacy for further action.
    • We suggest to use the e-mail option to save paper.
  1. What are indoor case paper and How do I print them?
    • Indoor case papers are required for admission of the patient in the hospital or ward. To bring in baseline standardization, you are provided with an option of printing the following documents
    • Admission Sheet, General admission consent, Preoperative preparation sheet, Deposit receipt, Pre admission patient medical history sheet and clinical notes with TPR and Drug Chart sheets.
    • All the above documents will automatically get printed with patient’s name and relevant admission details for your convenience.
    • You may add number of prints required for individual sheets and those number of copies will get printed.
    • TO GET THESE PRINTS--please go to the “consent and indoor admission” tab on OPD record page of a patient. It will direct you to the concerned page automatically. Keep adequate number of sheets in your printer for a full print out.
  1. What is an INFORMED CONSENT and How DO we print it?
    • Informed consent is a special consent for individual operation. There are long detail consents for any operation. This consent explains in detail about the surgery a patient is going to undergo as well as any alternative surgery or treatments available for the same illness. It also explains maximum possible problems and complications, Side effects [ from blood transfusion to equipment failure to consent for HPE, etc ], etc.
    • Informed consents helps to reduce the frictional points between doctor, patient and relatives. IT also helps to protect the doctors from medico legal complications.
    • The consent helps the patient to be adequately informed about the operation or procedure being done on them.
    • It should be used whenever possible so that it helps to build a healthy and robust health care system where people are happy about the information provided to them.
    • TO GET THESE PRINTS --please go to the “INFORMED CONSENT” tab on OPD record page of a patient. It will direct you to the concerned page automatically.
    • Fill in the blanks and select the appropriate consent. Most of the consents are available in English, Hindi or Marathi. As soon as the language is selected for a particular consent, it will be shown in the right hand box. If it is not seen , then it means only English consent for the operation / procedure is available.
    • Keep adequate number of sheets in your printer for a full print out.
    • For all the right reasons, please hand over the consent to the patient & relatives. While handing it over, please write down the type of the consent “handover”. Let adequate time be spent on the consent by patient. IF they have any queries, please answer those queries to their satisfaction. After complete satisfaction, ask them to sign the consent with time and date of “handing it back “clearly mentioned preferably in their hand writing.
  1. What are templates and How to use them?
  2. Templates are ready made prescriptions or instructions or OPD data or IPD useful data. This can be easily copied to the required place and saves typing every time and saves a lot of time. The time saved can be devoted for the patient.

    • To use the templates-- Please go to the right hand top corner of “OPD record “page.
    • Click there and use the drop down menu to select the required template
    • Then click “” add template””
    • Give a name to a new template
    • Add all the required fields. If you need any additional rows, please click on the “” + “” sign and another row will be added.
    • Once your template is completely ready, please save it.
    • Similarly, you may edit a previously made template by selecting it from the left side column--- edit it --- and then save it.
  1. How do I print an OPD bill?
    • On The “OPD record page” of a patient, there is a “OPD bill” icon. Please click it.
    • You can select the preformed details which you have entered in “OPD billing template” and simply click ”ADD”.
    • If there is new detail, you may type directly in every column.
    • The OPD bill will automatically make ”the total”, discount and remaining balance amount.
    • Once the final bill is done, please “Save” it.
    • Later, if any print is required, you may take a ”print”
    • Print will occupy 50% of A/4 size paper. The remaining 50% place can be used for the second bill.
  1. How do I print an IPD bill ?
    • IPD bill can be printed only for admitted patient or an IPD patient.
    • On The “IPD admission record page “of a patient, there is a ”IPD bill” icon. Please click it.
    • You can select the preformed details which you have entered in “ IPD billing template” and simply click “” ADD””.
    • If there is new detail, you may type directly in every column.
    • The OPD bill will automatically make “the total”, discount and remaining balance amount.
    • Once the final bill is done, please “Save” it.
    • Later, if any print is required, you may take a “print”
  1. Can I get statistical data and reports from the software?
  2. Yes, Your own patient’s statistical record and reports will be available to you at a nominal charge directly from the software.

  1. Will the software always remain free? If yes, are there any conditions to it?
  2. The OPD, IPD software will always remain free. Specialized services will become chargeable. The data storage may be chargeable at a later date.

    Extensive users of the software may have all the services free. So more you use, more is the chance that you will not have to pay for any specialized services

    Please remember, this software is “from the doctors “and “for the doctors”” and “for the benefit of patients”. We intend to make something available free for doctors in return for their non acclaimed, non appreciated social service to patients.

  1. Will I earn anything in return if I use this software extensively?
  2. As mentioned above, more the use, more services will be free for you. If you are an extensive user, you may get special offers, gift vouchers etc...based on your proper use.

    To be eligible for the additional free services, you must use the diagnosis “Select “ process as well as generic medicine selection process as per the government guidelines.

  1. Will I get data from the software for writing research papers?
  2. Yes, We will certainly encourage doctors to write research papers. The data required for the same will be made available at a very concessional rate, if proper documentation is submitted online.

  1. Will my account close or deactivated ever?
  2. No. In ordinary circumstances, it will not be deleted or deactivated but in case of misuse, fraud or any form of civil or criminal activity or request from any government organization, your account may get deactivated or deleted.

  1. Has anyone access to my password?
  2. Your password is not seen by anyone. To keep your password secure is completely your responsibility. Therefore, please keep your password complicated and see that it comes in “good or safe or weak or strong category on the password assessment scale. Keep your password strong.

  1. How do I give feedback?
  2. There is a feedback button on the left side menu. Kindly click the Feedback button . Please write your feedback and send it.

    We will appreciate your feedback so that the software can be improved and make it easy to use for everyone. Kindly note that all suggestions from everyone are difficult to implement.

    We will try and if required, send an answer to your e mail id at the earliest.

  1. How secure is the software?
  2. The software is fully secure. Your patient’s personal data is encrypted.

  1. What kind of feedback is to be given?
  2. Your suggestions regarding improvement in the day to day smooth running of the OPD and IPD will be immensely useful. You can also give feedback regarding misuse of the software by any users. The feedback can be also be given regarding Government or Medical Council guidelines. We can incorporate all those suggestions which can make every day documentation legal and as per government guidelines.

  1. Can I suggest any changes in the software?
  2. You may definitely suggest changes in the software for better functioning or adding some additional functionalities which will be useful for doctors. If the suggestions are good and acceptable to our panel of experts, we will certainly try and implement them. If your suggestions do get implemented, you may be suitably rewarded.

  1. How do I prepare a prescription quickly?

  1. What are the rules and regulations regarding prescription writing?
  2. The new updated guidelines are followed in preparation of your software. IF you use all the columns in the prescription you will be following almost all the guidelines of the government for the prescription automatically.

  1. How do I admit a patient or make a patient IPD?
    • To admit a patient-- Please go to the bottom of “OPD record “page.
    • Click “Admit this patient” Then click “add template”
    • Complete the information required to admit this patient. IT will be in your own interest to fill in the maximum possible columns.
    • Once you have completed all information which you can fill, please “save “ or “Admit “ the patient.

    You may now go to IPD column on the left side---- select a patient--- view the required patient --- then go on the further possiblities.

  1. How do I prepare a discharge card?
    • To admit a patient-- Please go to the bottom of “OPD record “page.
    • Click “Admit this patient” Then click “” add template””
    • Complete the information required to admit this patient. IT will be in your own interest to fill in the maximum possible columns.
    • Once you have completed all information which you can fill, please “save” or “Admit “ the patient.
    • You may now go to IPD column on the left side---- select a patient--- view the required patient
    • You may now check in every column of “Date & Time for admission”
    • Then “ Copy the OPD data”. You can copy your OPD data from a day or from many days.
    • Please check all the copied data before you proceed
    • Then you may add the “” Operation Notes””
    • On the last page, you can fill in the required fields.
    • You can copy, Instruction templates, Prescription templates or IPD templates to complete the discharge card quickly.
    • Lastly, check the “ Date and Time” of discharge
    • You can give print order ”on plain paper or your own printed letterhead”
  1. How do I select instructions and instructions template?
  2. Templates are ready made instructions. You can prepare various instruction templates for various diseases/ surgeries. This can be easily copied to the required place and saves typing every time and saves a lot of time. The time saved can be devoted for the patient.

    • Click there and use the drop down menu to select the required “” instructions template””
    • Then click “” add template””
    • Give a name to a new template

  1. What are forms and letters? How do I use them?
  2. “” Forms and Letters”” are various documents which are routinely required by Doctors in their day to day practice. These are preformed documents which are completely editable.

  1. What is OPD date wise summery?
  2. Whenever you see your patient in OPD, a record is generated for that day’s notes. This record is called OPD date wise summery.

    This summery will help you to quickly review your patient’s past history and treatment. This can be also easily copied and then edited during preparation of your discharge card.

  1. What is previous IPD data?
  2. Whenever you make your patient IPD, a record is generated for that discharge. This record is called ”IPD Data”.

    This summery will help you to quickly review your patient’s past history and treatment. This can be also easily copied and then edited during preparation of your discharge card.
